Sexy Summer Make-Up

Get sexy summer makeup ideas and looks to enhance your summer tanned skin with makeup looks that are great for breezy summer days and party!
Golden Goddess
Shades of champagne, bronze, honey and straw beautifully illuminate eyelids – especially on sun-kissed skin – the look is perfect for easy, breezy summer days. Keep skin radiant and clean with foundation where needed and a light balm on lips and opt for high SPF products.
Don’t get carried away with the bronze theme though, overly tanned skin will look passe, so instead concentrate on achieving a flawless, honeyed hue.
A tiny dab of cream bonzer dotted onto the apples of the cheeks will add a light-catching glow that won’t detract from the main attraction: your eyes makeup!

Colorful Eyelids
Let your inner child get creative with color this season – the rules are there ain’t no rules this summer! Think playful pigments on lips and cheekbones dusted with candyfloss pink. Try eyes doused in glitter, neon shades out of a Crayola box.

Smokey Eyes
Magical violet tones never go out of style and this summer it is paired with shiny peach and coral tones. Smoke up your eyes for a night-out to complement your summer glow: use a shimmery violet around the eyes blending it with soft peach and coral eyeshadow for a more estival look.
Add more depth with a black khol tracing a thin line along the upper and lower lashes, insisting at the outer corners.

Finish the look with two coats of mascara, a light pink blush blended to the temples and a touch of lip gloss.

Sweltering heat and humidity can wreak havoc with your summer makeup. Foundation may seem to melt or liquefy, and no powder stands up to those little beads of sweat that collect around your hairline. A modification of your regimen may be in order, and a few tricks will get you through a midday makeup meltdown.

Instructions

Things You'll Need

  • Blush
  • Blush Brush
  • Cotton Swabs
  • Eye Shadow
  • Face Powder
  • Facial Tissues
  • Lip Balm
  • Lip Liners
  • Lipstick
  • Mascara
  • Oil-free Foundations
    • 1
Skip the foundation, if possible, and opt for a tinted moisturizer. If foundation is necessary, limit application to the center of the face, steering clear of the hairline.
    • 2
Consider switching to an oil-free formula during the summer months or dilute your everyday foundation with an oil-free moisturizer. This lighter coverage will fare better when temperatures heat up.
    • 3
Dust any coverage with a little loose powder. Use blush sparingly, letting your sun-kissed cheeks grab the attention.
    • 4
Blot any perspiration or oil buildup with non-powdered blotting papers. Or substitute a clean tissue, pressing gently into moist areas.
    • 5
Remove under-eye foundation or powder buildup with a clean cotton swab. Resist the temptation to reapply unless you feel it absolutely necessary.
    • 6
Reapply loose powder only. Pressed powder has the tendency to cake and clump when hit with moisture.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep lips protected and moisturized. Use a lip balm that has an SPF and consider switching to a moisture-rich lipstick.
  • Battle summer blemishes with a superior nighttime treatment so there's less reason to cover up come morning.
  • Oil-free formulas may make dry skin drier.

Keeping the eyes fresh in summer is no doubt an important & attention grabbing task. Being one of the prominent features of the face, your eyes should look nice and fresh.
In summer this task becomes bit difficult because of the heat and perspiration etc. In case of make-up particularly, sweating kills your make-up efforts after some time.
In this regard, first thing is to protect your eyes from the ultra violet sun rays. In hot and humid day time your eyes need more care. So your eye make-up must be refreshing & soothing but with an eye-catchy look.
In summers mostly light colors shades are preferable; but of course they must be according to your eye shape. Also your dress color & the occasion or place you are going for is also essential to consider. Shades in pink, skin, peach, etc usually go best in summers. They gives you bit natural and simple look with featuring your eyes in an attractive way. Fair colored ladies should for pink shades and those who got the whitish or bit dark complexion should go for brown shades; in order to give the natural look.
For eye lashes choose the water proof mascaras and go for the pencil eye-liner. In day time for office or causal make-up, apply gray liner and for the night functions prefer black eye liner.
You should always have a non-powered blotting paper or absorbing tissue to remove the perspiration or extra oil; coming from the eye make-up. These things can seriously disturb your make-up.
Another important thing is to have a neatly made eye brow shape. Too thin eye brows are not ‘inn’ this season. Medium sized eye brows would flourish your eye make as well.
Prefer to remove your eye make-up softly & gently with an eye make remover and with a cotton mop.
